World GBC WLC Roadmap

The UK Green Building Council have collaborated with industry leaders to produce a set of recommendations for the calculation and reduction of both embodied and operational carbon in new and existing buildings and infrastructure. The calculation method outlined is in line with PAS2080 and the EN15978 A1-C4 categories. Beyond this, it gives recommendations to the industry on how to respond to the calculation requirements and reduction goals, and to legislators and standards authorities to embed these methods. Providing a true pathway to a holistic view of reducing the construction industry’s GHG emissions.
